Earth has been overrun with plastics. From the bottom of the ocean floor, to the top of Mt. Everest, microplastic particles can be found everywhere — including in the food we eat, water we drink, and in the personal care products we use on our bodies every day.

The startling reality is that the majority of hair, face, and body care products available on the market are laden with harmful toxic ingredients, including phthalates and sulphates, used to make them retain their fragrance better and last longer.

For decades, scientists have known that these chemicals can interfere with important hormone functions causing significant issues including developmental and reproductive issues, cancer and early death, as well as problems with the brain and immune system. And yet hundreds of personal care products fill the shelves of stores worldwide.
